The United Arab Emirates, a melting pot of 200 nationalities, has a diverse population of 9.9 million in 2023. Surprisingly, around 30% of its residents are flying solo. Despite the UAE’s cosmopolitan charm, the quest for love here has always been challenging.
Imagine swiping right and left for endless hours on dating apps, hoping to find that special someone amidst the glitz and glamour of Dubai. Frustration was growing but soon our founder realized it was time to take matchmaking to a whole new level by bridging the gap for both expats and locals to discover their life partners.
In her own words: My journey to Dubai began in 2012, carrying with me a family legacy of matchmaking. I found myself drawn to the stories of singles in Dubai, seeking to unravel the unique challenges they faced in the quest for love and marriage. After playing Cupid for numerous friends and colleagues across the UAE, the stars aligned, and Knot Konnection was born. In a city where extravagance know no bounds, it became clear that what some cherished above all else was a partner to share the wonders of this world-class city.”
